SYNOPSIS
Running with Demons documents the inspirational struggle of extreme-athlete, and recovering drug-addict/alcoholic, Todd Crandell during the grueling 2009 Ultraman Endurance race in British Columbia, Canada.

In the twenty-five year history of the Ultraman Endurance race, no film crew has been given such unprecedented access to a competitor during the three-day, 320.6 mile (516.5 km) swim, bike and run through the scenic, yet rugged backcountry, of British Columbia.

Haunted by over a decade of drug and alcohol abuse, Todd Crandell; now sobriety-evangelist and savior through his foundation, Racing for Recovery, runs with the demons of this past, terrified his journey of atonement and his desire to help others could result in the loss of his livelihood, his family, and possibly his own life. Witness the inner-conflict and the uncanny parallel the Ultraman Endurance race has with Todd’s life as he races toward the finish line.
